Jasmina Ließmann

Frontend Developer and TYPO3 Core Developer

Jasmina is a frontend developer at b13, bringing designs to life through carefully crafted templates and content elements. She prepares structures for the TYPO3 backend so editors can manage content intuitively. Whether building internal b13 plugins or client projects, her work ensures that TYPO3 backends are as user-friendly as possible.

After completing her training as a Digital Media Designer in 2010, Jasmina discovered TYPO3 and has been specializing in it ever since. For over fifteen years, she’s worked on TYPO3 projects, handling both frontend implementation and backend configuration. What drew her to media design initially was discovering that with simple tools like HTML, you could build and create something entirely your own. She’s been a member of the TYPO3 Core Team since 2022, attending code sprints since her first in Denmark in 2016, and helping shape the future of TYPO3.

Jasmina and TYPO3

TYPO3 is an open-source project where everyone can contribute and shape the product through patches. I love that openness. I’ve attended numerous code sprints and events over the years, and since 2022, I’ve been a member of the TYPO3 Core Team, reviewing and merging patches. It’s important to me to make the TYPO3 backend as user-friendly as possible for editors—with only as much as needed, but still as flexible as possible.

Jasmina on working at b13

I’m still relatively new at b13, but from the very first day, I felt genuinely welcomed. There’s a comfortable, familiar atmosphere with lots of humor and real teamwork. It's a positive atmosphere in a professional environment with inspiring and supportive colleagues. What’s especially great is that I can work on client projects while also having the opportunity to contribute to the TYPO3 Core during my work time, helping shape version 14.

Jasmina’s Dos and Don’ts
