TYPO3 Extension “VG Wort Pro”
Version 0.10.0 (2026-09-19)
If texts are already reported to VG Wort—by hand, through the portal, or by whatever ran before this extension—the sync reads them back so the backend shows what is true.
- Web > VG Wort > Text Registration
- Sync from VG Wort
Pages whose pixel matches a report are marked submitted, and the public code the report was filed under is recorded on the page. Where the local data and VG Wort disagree, the difference is shown for review rather than resolved silently.
VG Wort’s research only reaches back a limited period—about three years, as their portal describes it. Older reports are invisible to the sync and stay unmarked. That is a limit of their endpoint, not of this extension, and nothing here can widen it.
Needs api.enabled, credentials, and the sync_registrations permission.
Discrepancy review
The sync never changes a report at VG Wort and never deletes anything locally. It offers:
URLs
| Situation | What you can do |
|---|---|
| A URL exists locally but not in the report | Add it to VG Wort as an additional webrange |
Adding a webrange is the one change VG Wort does allow after a report was sent—it exists for texts that move to a new URL.
Authors
| Situation | What you can do |
|---|---|
| In the report, not in TYPO3 | Link to an existing author record, or create one as active or inactive |
| In TYPO3, not in the report | Remove the assignment, or keep it and accept the difference |
Nothing here is transmitted except the explicit "add to VG Wort" on a URL. Everything else changes local records only, because the report itself cannot be changed—see How It Works.
A bundled text is compared as a whole: its URL list is built from every part, so chapters are not reported as missing. See Bundled Texts.
