AI Label—Transparency for AI Content in TYPO3

Make AI content transparent in TYPO3.

AI Label records whether content was generated or edited using artificial intelligence. It also documents who reviewed and approved each version for publication.

AI Label will be available from mid-August 2026.

Traceable content origins and approval
Content can be marked as “AI-generated” or “AI-edited”. The status can be added by editors or passed directly from connected extensions and external systems.
A responsible person can review and approve the specific version for publication. If the content changes afterwards, renewed approval is required.

Flexible TYPO3 integration
AI Label makes the information available in the backend and frontend. Each TYPO3 project determines which content is included and how the label is presented—accessibly, in multiple languages and in line with the existing design.
AI Label does not automatically detect AI content or make legal decisions about labelling requirements. It provides the technical foundation for transparent and traceable publishing workflows.
