 Site & Brand Relaunch
===========================

Update your digital presence with b13 to stay future-proof and relevant for your customers. Here’s how we get there together.

 [ Start your relaunch ](https://b13.com/lets-connect)

### Discovery Kick-Off

Every relaunch starts with a discovery workshop—the first time stakeholders, designers, and developers sit down at the same (virtual) table. Before we design a solution, we need to understand the problem: what’s working, what isn’t, and what success looks like.

We typically meet for two to four hours online, or up to six hours in person, together with your core project team and any sponsors involved, collecting input live on a shared Miro board.

Afterward, you’ll receive a clear problem statement, an initial view of your target audience, and a documented overview of your current state—the baseline the rest of the project builds on.

  ### Understanding Your Users

Once we understand the problem, we need to understand the people behind it. There’s no single method that fits every project—what we use depends on what you already know about your users, and what you need in order to make the case for a relaunch internally.

Sometimes that means running workshops to surface knowledge your team already has; sometimes it means digging into analytics, support tickets, or search queries to see where users actually get stuck. Mapping the customer journey—the stages people go through and the questions they have at each step—is often the most useful lens. For other projects, the Jobs-to-Be-Done framework works better, focusing on the outcome someone is trying to achieve rather than who they are on paper.

We choose the approach that fits your data, your timeline, and the argument you need to bring stakeholders along—not a fixed template we run regardless of the situation.

### Structuring Your Content

With a clear picture of your users and their goals, we turn to structure: how your content is organized, labeled, and connected. Solid information architecture makes the difference between a site that helps visitors find what they need and one that leaves them clicking in circles.

We build a sitemap that shows how pages relate to each other, define a navigation and search concept that matches how your users actually think, and make sure content isn’t duplicated or scattered across the site. The goal is simple: show the right information at the right time, and no more than that.

  ### Page Types & UX Patterns

Once the overall structure is set, we go a level deeper: what content already exists for each page type, what’s still missing, and how it should be displayed to do its job. Mapping this out early means you can start drafting or gathering content while we’re still deep in structuring and design, instead of waiting until development is finished—which saves real time later in the project.

Working through content page type by page type, clear UX patterns start to emerge—recurring ways of solving a particular problem, like a filtering interface or a multi-step form. For more complex or unfamiliar patterns, we build a prototype to validate the approach before committing to it. Simpler, well-established patterns go straight into design without that extra step.

### Visual & UX Design, Built for TYPO3

With the structure and patterns in place, we move to visual and interaction design—translating your brand into a system that works on screen and holds up over time. We favor clarity over decoration: every choice should help visitors reach their goal, not distract them from it.

We also design as close to the final code as possible, working with real components and constraints rather than abstract mockups. That keeps friction low once design hands off to development—nothing gets lost in translation between the two.

We build on Atomic Design principles, so components inherit their styling from a shared set of rules. Change a color or spacing value once, and it updates consistently across the whole site. Every component is documented with a plain-language name and description, so your editors—and any developer who works on the site after us—know exactly what it does and how to use it.

The result is a design system built for TYPO3: responsive, consistent, and easy to maintain long after launch.
