 TYPO3 Extension “VG Wort Pro”
 Version 0.10.0 (2026-09-19)

**Check before you put the pixel behind a consent banner.** A pixel that renders only after someone clicks "accept" counts a fraction of the accesses, and the accesses are what the whole thing is for. Treating it as ordinary consent-gated tracking is a choice with a price, not the obvious default.

   What VG Wort says
-------------------

From the Teilnahmebedingungen für das Online Meldesystem T.O.M., section 5—July 2026 edition, checked 17 September 2026:

That is VG Wort’s reading, not ours and not legal advice. The decision belongs to whoever answers for privacy on your site.

   For your privacy policy
-------------------------

The same document offers a ready-made passage, headed Cookies und Meldungen zu Zugriffszahlen, explaining the pixel, the client ID and the session cookie. Take it from the current Teilnahmebedingungen rather than from here, so you quote the version in force—and check the edition date while you are there, because this chapter was written against the one named above.

Two facts belong in a processor list either way: the counting is carried out for VG Wort by **Fifty5Blue Deutschland GmbH, Saarbrücken**, and the session cookie exists to stop the same reader being counted twice within one browser session.

   What this extension stores
----------------------------

Author records hold a name and a VG Wort card number—the data VG Wort requires to attribute a text. They are backend records, visible to backend users with access to their storage page, and they reach VG Wort only as part of a report you trigger.

Extracted texts, pixel codes and registration status sit on page records and in the extension’s own tables. None of it is personal data about readers: the counting itself happens at VG Wort, and this extension never sees who read anything.
